Bible translations have authors and rightsholders. Being able to read a translation on this site for free does not mean you may use it freely.

Rights to each translation

The rightsholder is shown next to the text of each translation. If a translation is distributed under an open license, that license is named there as well.

Using materials from this site

Many translations are published on only.bible with their rightsholders’ permission and only for reading on this site. They may not be copied to other websites, apps, or printed publications. We cannot grant permission for such use — please contact the translation’s rightsholder directly.

Without an agreement, you may freely use only texts in the public domain. Texts under an open license may be used on the terms of that license.

If you are the author or rightsholder of a text on this site and the rights information is missing or incorrect, write to us at support@only.bible. If any material has been published against your wishes, we will review the request and remove it when appropriate.
